Paint Pots are one of my favorite products from MAC. They're mostly creamy (I say mostly because it's not consistent across all the colors they have/had), and are good bases for our eye shadow.
I noticed how most of the Paint Pots I own have dried up. I got nothing to do and decided to revive them and walk you through it. There's lots of suggestions on how to do it but this one is the easiest for me because all you need is a mini spatula.
Whenever paint pots gets dried up, the product separates itself from the container, becomes really stiff, and is hardly any use at all. The ones I brought out for reviving are from the MAC's holiday collection about 2 or 3 years ago.
I actually got this idea from YouTube. I started mashing everything, making sure I get all the hard parts mixed in.
I admit, making the first dip made me cringe.
This is was what it looked liked after patting it down. It's not as pretty as when I first bought it but I comforted myself by thinking that what's important is that I'll be able to use it again.
After doing so, it was creamy again, just how it originally was. :) Try it at home to get the most out of your Paint Pots.
